Why handcrafted soap?

Handcrafted soap is true soap. Commercial soaps are manufactured in large factories using economical ingredients. Often they contain some or all synthetic detergents with most of the natural occuring glycerin removed.

I’naru’ Bath & Body handcrafted soap are made with food quality vegetable oils & butters, natural essential oils & phthalate free fragrances. All natural occuring glycerin remains intact in the soap. Glycerin is a “humectant” which means it attracts and retains moisture on your skin. This results in a mild soap that gently cleanses without being harsh on your skin. Our products are made with high quality ingredients and in small batches to ensure attention to every detail. Our products are made as natural as possible with no SLS, detergents, phthalates, or petroleum. Creative artistry result in soaps that are different and unique, combining function & beauty. When you use a bar of our handcrafted soap, you know it was made with the personal touch of a soapmaker.

The person behind I’naru’ Bath & Body

My name is Jessica Vazquez and I started I’naru’ Bath & Body to share my passion for handcrafted soap and bath & body products. My journey into making my own products began when my children began to have reactions to the commercial made baby products I was using on them. One suffered from itchy dry skin while the other would get patches of a weird red rash behind his knees. Medication helped- but I didn’t want to medicate their problem I wanted to get rid of it. I began to research and change what I used on them. This slowly evolved into making my own products.
